Plastic compounds are extensively and most commonly utilized in telecom industry, which include Accessories and Cable Management Closures etc. There is an existence that some of suppliers provide those products at the prices as low as they can thru choosing to apply the Reused materials, compared to Virgin materials, sometimes, the price difference was up to more than 20%. Generally, the Quality and Durability in products that applied with Reused material come to much more compromising in typical value as:
- 25% minimum deterioration in mechanical performance.
- 30% minimum life-time shortened.
Why we don’t select reused plastic?
Reused plastic materials often exhibit inferior properties compared to virgin ones, degraded effects that take place during the item’s lifetime. These degradation effects are further accelerated while melt reprocessing operations where environmental factors like heat exposure, therefore can cause dramatic changes in the molecular structure.
