What is a good quality cable? Is it just that the raw materials are genuine and the performance meet the requirements of international standards? Don’t limit to the cable itself, good packaging also contributes a lot to the quality.

Do you really know Pull Box?

As the most commonly used packaging method for LAN cables, the details of “Pull Box” may not receive much attention by the customers. Actually, it contains a Tangle and Twist-Free Packaging Technology, which by using unique machine programming to wind the cable into a figure-eight coil with a clear, rhombic payout hole. While using, the inside end of the cable is unwound from the inside-out through a payout tube. Unlike other
standard coils or reels, it pays off smoothly without twists, tangles, snags or overruns. Because the coil does not rotate during payout, there is no inertia, and thus also no need for payoff stands or brakes.

Unqualified Pull Box causing a headache

Due to without professional winding machine as well as the neglect of this technology by many small cable manufacturers, there are a lot of unqualified Pull Boxes flooding the cable market. Although this kind of package look almost the same with the genuine Pull Box from the outside, but inside they are very different. Since most of winding machines are incapable of making a clear, precise payout hole in the coil. To form the look of the Pull Box, the worker has to force a payout tube (usually a small type) randomly into the coil. This will most likely result in at least one (or many more) loops in the figure-eight on the wrong side of the hole, i.e. multiple loops and twists in a row. When using this package to lay, the installers will often have a headache due to the knot, tangle problems, what worse, cable damage caused by the payoff, affecting transmission performance (especially Return Loss).

Fotux Pull Box

Precision-wound figure-eight coil formed with clear, distinct payout hole can be easily equipped with a larger tube which defined by 38 entry and 50 exit diameters and thus more suit for cables around 5mm in diameter.

Unqualified Pull Box

A 20mm in diameter payout tube is inserted in the vague, forced or non-existent hole on this scramble-wound figure-eight coil causing at some point during payout, a knot is likely to occur.

FOTUX Pull Box features

As a professional cable manufacturer, FOTUX pays special attention to this Tangle and Twist-Free Packaging Technology, which has been popularized in UTP cables. The cutting-edge winding machine and professional engineers ensure that we can produce the figure-eight coil with a clear payout hole, which enables us to have the ability to distinguish from most of unqualified Pull Box on the market, that is, to use larger payout tube. Excellent cable transmission performance, coupled with more convenient packaging, will give you the best Telecom solution while greatly saving your time and transportation costs, which means fewer returns, and happier customers experience!
